La serpiente en forma de esfera inmóvil

«...a wonderfully coloured serpent... with numerous gleaming elements like its eyes... a spherical vision... with many tears… remembering the celestial music...»*
...we are islands; there are seas that separate us... but in those seas there are poems and music, some for saying what can only be said with words and others that penetrate our inner being, the things that only music can transmit: a Japanese poet said that someone dreamt about a serpent that looked like a sphere, immobile in the sleepy space...
the two of them, the searcher, soaked in tears, seeking that transcendent thing that escaped him, like mist between the fingertips, and the poet from the distant land who tries to communicate his dreams, who knows whether silent, who knows if without celestial musicians, speak to us of similar and fearful things… who could explain what they hide behind their visions? ...all of us dream and music dreams the dream of those images of resplendent, dreamlike colours that always separate us in which we also dream...
