Mar incandescent (Incandescent Sea) is a fantasy about a sunset over the sea, with the sun reflected like a mirror in the surface of the water. This was the emotion that the composer allowed to guide her through the music, playing with her favorite instruments (piano, cello and tenora, equivalent instrument to the oboe).
In the Rondó-fantasia de Jordi Vilaprinyó the piano is the driving force of the whole work and the tenora and violoncello drive the melodies upwards to reach a climatic cadenza where the two instruments create a harmonious dialogue.
This trio is the result of a visit of the author to the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona to see an exhibition by the Catalan artist. A few of these works grabbed her attention, specially the Dos ocells solars .
